Driving Directions
From the Minneapolis/St. Paul Intl Airport: Exit right out of airport and follow signs to 494 West. Take 494W to 35W North. Follow signs for downtown to the 11th St. exit. Take 11th St. to 2nd Ave, turn left. Continue past Convention Center. Turn right at Nicollet Ave. Hotel and parking ramp will be on your left.
From 94 West (Maple Grove, St. Cloud): Exit off 94 to North 4th Street. Continue to 2nd Ave. S. and turn right. Be sure not to turn on 2nd Ave. N. You need to cross Hennepin Ave. and Nicollet Mall. Continue on 2nd Ave. S. past the Convention Center to Nicollet Ave. and turn right. Hotel and parking ramp will be on your left.
From 35W North (Northern suburbs): Please note detour due to the closing of 35W at downtown: Follow 35W and take a slight right onto Highway 36. Take the ramp onto Highway 280S. After 3 miles, take the 94W exit. Follow 94W, stay in far right lane to the 11th St. exit. Take 11th St. to 2nd Ave. Turn left at 2nd Ave. Go past Convention Center. Turn right at Nicollet Ave. Hotel and Parking ramp will be on your left.
From 94 East (St. Paul, Wisconsin): Follow 94W, stay in far right lane to the 11th St. exit. Take 11th St. to 2nd Ave. Turn left at 2nd Ave. Go past Convention Center. Turn right at Nicollet Ave. Hotel and Parking ramp will be on your left.
From 35W (South suburbs): Follow signs for downtown to the 11th St. exit. Take 11th St. to 2nd Ave, turn left. Continue past Convention Center. Turn right at Nicollet Ave. Hotel and parking ramp will be on your left.
Self-parking is available in the hotel's garage for $17 per night. Valet parking is available at $25 per night. Both rates include in/out privileges.
Air
Please make all airline arrangements to fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). The airport is conveniently located about 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and the Hyatt Regency. MSP is serviced by all the major airline carriers in addition to many small, regional airlines.
The Hyatt Regency does not offer a complimentary hotel shuttle. However there are many alternatives for transportation between the airport and the hotel. Please see the information below for the various options.
Light Rail
Light rail
service is available between the airport (Lindbergh Terminal) and downtown Minneapolis. The closest light rail stop is approximately 8 blocks from the hotel at the Nicollet Mall Station. From the Nicollet Mall Station, you may either walk down Nicollet Mall to the hotel or take the Metro Transit bus for 50 cents. (Tell your driver before you pay the fare that you are only riding within the downtown zone.) For routes and additional information, please visit www.metrotransit.org.
Light rail fare between the airport and downtown is $2.00 each way, and tickets are sold at vending kiosks at the rail stations. To board the train, take the escalator down one level from the tram level and purchase a rail ticket from the machine. Continue down another escalator to the rail platform. Trains run every 7 or 8 minutes during peak hours and every 10 to 15 minutes at all other times.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle Service is available from SuperShuttle, which offers van service between the Hyatt Regency and the airport. The rate is $15 per person for a one-way fare and does not include driver's gratuity. If you purchase your return trip to the airport at the same time, the total round-trip fare is $26.
Reservations are not required for arrival into Minneapolis. For your departure back to the airport, SuperShuttle has regularly scheduled pick-ups at the Hyatt Regency. Regularly scheduled pick-ups run from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm on the hour and half hour. If you need to depart the hotel outside of these times, please call 1-800-BLUE-VAN or 612-827-7777 to make an advanced reservation.
Upon arrival into Minneapolis, retrieve your luggage then follow signs for "Hotel Shuttles and Scheduled Vans" to the Ground Transportation Atrium. The SuperShuttle Guest Service Desk is well marked and located near the center of the shuttle area. A Guest Service Agent will arrange SuperShuttle transportation to your destination. The boarding area is conveniently located directly outside the door, at the rear of the SuperShuttle desk.
Taxi Service
Taxi service is readily available at the airport, with fares averaging $30 to $35 per car, one-way to downtown Minneapolis and the Hyatt Regency. Taxi service is available at the Lindbergh Terminal via the Tram Level. Signs direct passengers one level up to the cab starter booth, where airport staff will assist passengers obtaining a cab.

Shuttle service
is provided via Town Car by several companies who operate out of the airport. Ticket counters are located in the Ground Transportation Atrium, one floor up from the Tram Level in the Lindbergh Terminal. Advanced reservations are highly recommended. You may call the Concierge at the Hyatt Regency at 612-370-1234 to help set up your sedan needs or you can call the following company directly: Premier Transportation - 800-899-7433 ($63.70, including gratuity, one-way from airport to Hyatt Regency). They will instruct you where to meet your car and driver upon arrival into Minneapolis.
